Blissful Lemon
I learned something new today about JavaScript! I also tackled the rest of the Basic Javascript section on freeCodeCamp and dove right into the Programming Foundations course on
It's Day 12 of 100 Days to Code, and I am mixing things up a bit by discussing my goals for next week as well as progress with the JavaScript challenges from freeCodeCamp.
JavaScript was the focus of today's 100 Days of Code challenge as I explored JavaScript30 and the fantastic JavaScript challenges at freeCodeCamp.
Don't things look different around here? I've been modifying my WordPress theme! But not to worry, this includes tons of HTML, CSS, and PHP coding and editing, so my 100 Days of Code challenge is still well on track.
HTML and CSS have become almost too easy for me, so today I am discussing my plans to move on to something more difficult. I took on some of the freeCodeCamp challenges and can't wait to try some of the intermediate and advanced tasks.
This is a quick update on where I am at in the challenge and what I plan to be doing this week. The playground now has a new index page, plus my portfolio is getting a bit of a facelift.
Today marks the last day of my first full week of 100 Days of Code. It's also the final day of the MysticMail mobile app landing page!
Today was a productive day in the development of the MysticMail landing page. I was able to fix many of the issues that I had yesterday and even managed to add my JavaScript / jQuery script to validate the login information. Tomorrow I will be finishing this project up before adding it to my portfolio.
Day 5 of 100 was not the best. I'm still working on the MysticMail landing page and ran into a bit of a problem figuring out how to best set up my navigation menu to allow a separate area for alerts. Bootstrap and I are not friends today. My code duck and I will have to try harder to figure it out tomorrow.
MysticMail got a new hero image today, along with a slightly modified color layout (more changes to come soon).
