I'm still struggling with learning Redux, but I'm so determined. As with learning anything complex, the key is to aim for one small piece at a time.
I hit a bit of a snag in learning Redux with the Free Code Camp challenges. So now I am taking a step back to begin a Redux course at Lynda.com and will supplement that with additional reading.
Today, I started learning about Redux, a predictable state container that can be used with JavaScript and React.js apps. I have learned some of the basics about Redux, including actions, reducers, the Redux store, and some of its methods.
I learned about conditional and dynamic rendering in React, as well as how to render React on the server to improve SEO and user experience.
During my coding adventures today, I completed another 13 React challenges and learned more about React components, hooks, and styling JSX elements.
Today was spent working my way through some of the React challenges at Free Code Camp as I continue working towards the Front End Libraries certification.
I completed the 'React for Web Designers' course today and claimed my certificate. Tomorrow I'll be moving back into the React section at FCC.
I have started on the third 'React for Web Designers' project, which uses a few different JavaScript libraries, a database, and React to display updates for a hotel app.
The second 'React For Web Designers' project is complete!
It has been a stormy weekend so far, but I'm taking advantage of the rainy weather by spending time indoors coding. I'm already halfway through the second 'React for Web Designers' project.
