Less than a month after moving to Ohio from sunny, far-too-warm-and-humid Georgia, Andrew and I found a small figurine caked in mud and who knows how many months or years worth of dirt and grime. Mud Man, as he was so aptly named, took up residence on our deck railing, where after a few rain storms, he began to look at least halfway decent.

Within just a few weeks, Mud Man became an important member of our family. We began going on adventures, cooking together, and even the dogs took a liking to him.

Among his favorite hobbies were spearfishing…

Cooking…

Getting swole…

Sitting on mushrooms…

Holding up really big rocks (because he’s so swole)…

And “hanging” around in potted plants, avoiding the paparazzi.

He also really liked posing with flowers, especially to celebrate the start of Spring.

Of course, that’s not to say that Mud Man was always happy. There were a few times when things just didn’t go his way, like in 2013 when he forgot to put his car away before the first “big” snow storm of the winter.

He also got into a bit of a tiff with a new arrival, Sir Lionel the Stone Knight, on more than one occasion.

Now, Mud Man has gone missing! I am searching frantically, trying to find him so we can go on another adventure together. I’d love to take him to the Festival of Lights in Cincinnati this year, but I have to find him first. It has been a few months, at least, since I last saw him. I know that there is little you can do to help, but I ask that you keep us in your hearts and thoughts as we continue this search.
