ELVIS JUICE???? That has to be the best craft beer name, EVAH!
If I saw that on the menu, I’d be ordering it for sure.
Glad you are enjoying trying new things – the world is your oyster Aimie, suck it down! (Unless you hate oysters, then sub whatever you DO like…hehehe.)

This is an excellent reminder to try new things occasionally! Thanks for the beer recommendation! I will keep my eyes open for it in the Pittsburgh market! 🙂

I forgot you said you were from Pittsburgh. They are relatively new to the states and just opened their first brewery in Columbus. But I am sure it’s just a matter of time before they expand outward. They are all over the UK, so I bet they will want to expand more in the US as well.

Funny, I am quite the opposite often times. I usually order things I’ve never had before. And usually I can not decide because the other one might be even better… Hubby is the opposite so usually we only go places he can order so my choices are limited. Good thing you keep an open mind and try new things.

Looks tasty! I wonder what changed if you hadn’t liked it in the past? I’m pretty open to trying new things, as long as I have a back up. Hahaha..

I honestly think it’s just that this particular one is a grapefruit citrus and it’s not as bitter as a lot of other beer. Of course I also had some water and a husband that would have finished my beer if I didn’t like it. That helps instill some confidence. 😁

I think that’s a great motto for life; keeping your mind open to new experiences. I could do with being more like this. I tend to stick with what I know because ‘what if’ I try something knew and don’t like it? I could have gone with what I know and enjoyed it. BUT if you don’t try new things you remain closed to potentially new and exciting experiences. Thanks for the reminder!

I started off trying new things kind of slowly. If you want to feel more adventurous, allow yourself to try something new every 1 in 10 times. Like, every 10 times that you go out to eat, force yourself to try one new thing that you wouldn’t normally try. It makes it a bit easier, to be honest, because if you don’t like it, you know you will be back in the “safe” zone next time around. I am sure that could apply to other things too, like trying new music, books, experiences, or anything else. As you start to like more things and acknowledge them as being positive experiences, it makes it easier to want to keep stepping further out of your comfort zone.
