  • Served as project manager for a small group of peers (6-8 students), where we were tasked with designing a virtual tour of the Macon Campus at Middle Georgia State University (known as Macon State College at the time).
  • Hands-on experience using a wide range of tools including the Unreal Development Kit, Adobe Creative Suite, Maya 2013, 3D Studio Max 2013, and Adobe Flash CS6.

Crew Member / Supervisor Intern
Virginia State Parks & Recreation Youth Corps
  • Served as a crew member during a three-week summer residential program for three consecutive years, followed by one year as a supervisor intern in July 2005.
  • Responsible for assisting park rangers, maintenance workers, and other staff with the conservation and maintenance of four state parks, including several labor-intensive projects like building boat docks, clearing trails, and the installation and maintenance of soil erosion prevention devices.
  • As a supervisor intern, I was also responsible for around-the-clock supervision, care and well-being of 12-15 other youth crew members, including planning, mediation, discipline, and conflict resolution between crew members.
