Today’s update is going to be another fairly short one. I just wanted to touch base and tell you all where I am at with this ‘React for Web Designers’ course.
As expected, I finished the second project! Here are a few of the things I learned today:
- How to use CSS animations within my React components using animate.css
- How to incorporate a reset button into my form filter to allow the user to start over without having to manually select and update each field. This is similar to previous projects that also included a reset field, but it was another great example of using React to completely control all the fields and buttons.
There wasn’t really anything new today in terms of the actual React library or anything like that, but it was still a pretty successful day as animating with CSS is something that I really want to get some experience in.
As with the first project, the files are all stored on my local server for now, so I am not really able to share the finished site. I plan to upload them all to my playground soon, but for now, I’ll just show you a few screenshots of the finished project.
