100 Days of Code: Day 55

Home / Technology / Web Development / 100 Days of Code: Day 55
There are just 5 algorithm challenges left to go and I'm more than halfway through the ES6 challenges. That's proof that you don't have to be perfect to keep moving forward.

Slow And Steady Wins The Race

I am getting so close to finally being done with these JavaScript algorithm challenges. There are just 5 left and I’ll nearly be ready to tackle the JavaScript projects. I have started on all 5 of the remaining challenges (meaning the last 3 and 2 that I had previously skipped) but got hung up on them all for one reason or another.

Rather than spending too much time on each problem and getting frustrated, I decided to kind of jump back and forth and work on the ES6 challenges when I need a break. It actually helped with two of the other challenges since it gave me a chance to kind of clear my mind and look at the problem from a different perspective.

I’m glad I’ve started on the ES6 section again. I really want to finish that before I do the projects. Oh, and you know that high order function challenge that I was complaining about not understanding weeks ago? It took me all of about 5 minutes to complete. It turns out waiting was actually the right call as I have learned more of what I needed to know to get through this content.

A Look Ahead

I am going to try my best to finish the ES6 and algorithm sections tomorrow, so forgive me if I don’t post much of an update.

I’ll be on the road and away from the computer pretty much all day Wednesday, but I am going to take my iPad Pro and keyboard with me so I can start working on the projects on the road or, at the very least, reviewing some JS documentation and doing some extra research that I’ve been putting off. I’ll make sure I meet my 1-hour goal, but I can’t promise much more than that.

Thursday will probably be another short day but I shouldn’t have any problem getting in a few hours of coding. Then it’s mostly back to normal for a few weeks. July is a really busy month. We have family events, concerts, festivals, and all sorts of fun stuff to do. But I’m determined to stay on track and meet my goal each day. I’m 55 days in and not about to mess it up now! 😉[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_outline” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
