100 Days of Code: Day 35

Home / Technology / Web Development / 100 Days of Code: Day 35
There are just TWO projects left to complete before I can claim my Free Code Camp Responsive Web Design Certification! I'm really proud of what I accomplished with the Dream Cakes landing page, especially being that this was my first project using flexboxes (and I am pretty sure I rocked it).

I don’t even know why. I enjoyed the coding aspect, but for some reason I am just really impatient to get to that certificate. I think I may still have JavaScript on the brain and I know that’s what comes next.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Notes/Comments:” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]If you want to see the HTML and CSS for the page, check out the pen below. You can also view a full-screen version, which you will notice is incredibly responsive. I used a few separate flexboxes to align the content for different screen sizes.

You can also visit Free Code Camp to review the requirements for the product landing page OR click on the green bars in the top-left-hand corner of the page to test it against the requirements. Just select “Product Landing Page” from the dropdown menu, then click ‘Run Tests.’ Once you see the green ‘Tests 16/16′ button, you can click on that to see a full breakdown of the requirements.

P.S. Did you happen to notice that this is my 36th consecutive day blogging?! That is a new record for me. I am so happy that I was able to find the time and purpose for blogging during this time. If you’re just getting started with your own 100 Days of Code, or any other challenge like it, I definitely recommend giving blogging a shot. It doesn’t take too much time each day, and the benefits are amazing. I love having the opportunity to step back and reflect on what I have accomplished, what my plans are coming up, what has worked, and anything that I might want to change in the future.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Important Links” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]
