100 Days of Code: Day 11
Goals For Today:
- Dive into JavaScript with the JavaScript30 course
- Complete a few more of the freeCodeCamp challenges
The Good:
I finally finished the rest of the HTML5 and CSS section in the freeCodeCamp challenges. Then I jumped into the JavaScript section and somehow managed to get through a total of 67 challenges today. That’s not too shabby for a few hours’ work.

The Bad:
So, I tried to start on the JavaScript30 course. I downloaded the course files and watched the first few videos and just wasn’t happy with the level of explanation that was being delivered (or not delivered, in this case). I didn’t give him much of a chance, though, so the course is still on my to-do list. I just moved it further back until I have had a little more of a JavaScript refresher. I’ll probably start on it again when I finish the JavaScript challenges at freeCodeCamp.
Notes/Comments:
I know it’s Saturday and I am supposed to be doing several more hours of coding, but my husband has to work tomorrow, so I am going to call it quits early today. I got in about 2.5 hours, so I don’t think that is too bad.
It’s important to keep reminding myself that it’s healthy and beneficial to take breaks and enjoy other things in life.
